Juliet Montgomery Obituary
The funeral will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Bratton Funeral Home with Reverend Will Coefield officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bratton Funeral Home on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 6-8 PM.
Juliet was the daughter of the late Mish Cobb and Alma Brock Cobb. She graduated from South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind in 1954 and worked at Sullivan Carson from 1954-2011. She was a member at Central Baptist Church in York where she was an interpreter for the deaf for 37 years.
Juliet is survived by her husband, Edward Montgomery, sons, Keith Montgomery (Cindy) of Shattuck, OK, Kevin "Starsky" Montgomery of York, SC, brother, Mike Cobb of Seneca, SC, son-in-law, Freddie Ivey of Rock Hill, SC, four grandchildren, Kristy Montgomery (Chase), Monty Montgomery, James Ivey, and Anna Gray Ivey.
In addition to her parents, Juliet was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Ivey, sisters, Christine Smith, Sadie Carver, Pansy Harris, Virginia Kane, Bertha Faye Cobb, brothers, JD "Bill" Cobb, Charles Cobb, and Paul Cobb.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church at 110 Ross Canon St. York, SC 29745.
