Leigh Ann Lausterer

Leigh A. Lausterer FORT MILL - Mrs. Leigh Ann Lausterer, age 43, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at the Wayne Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, S.C. She was born in Columbia and was the daughter of the late Sally Ann Pangle and the late Lanny Jennings. Leigh was a graduate of USC, with a degree in early childhood education. She was a dedicated kindergarten teacher with the Catholic Diocese School System in Charlotte, N.C. "Mrs. Lobster," as she was called by her children, loved her students and her career. Survivors are her stepfather, Don Pangle; an uncle, Eddy Patterson (Kathy) and many cousins. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at Palmetto Funeral Home in Fort Mill, S.C. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3 p.m. at Palmetto Funeral Home. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice & Community Care for the care they provided for Leigh. Words cannot express the love and attention that was given to Leigh throughout her illness, both while in her home as well as at the Wayne Patrick Hospice House.
