Lottie Whitlock Obituary

ROCK HILL - Lottie B. Whitlock of 428 Hagins St., in Rock Hill, passed away April 2, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center.

She was born to the late Willie and Rose Jeter Whitlock on September 8, 1936, in York County. She is predeceased by her spouse, Elle Massey and son, Robert L. Whitlock. She is survived by daughters, Ida Anderson, Beverly Whitlock, Linda (Woody) Patton, Daisy Whitlock, Vanessa (John ) Joseph, Peggy (Michael) Aguars, Vickey ( Christopher ) Massey and Carol Ann Whitlock, all of Rock Hill, S.C. and Edna May Massey of Brooklyn, N.Y.; sons, Bobby Whitlock, Lawerence Whitlock and Furman Massey. all of Rock Hill, S.C. and Nataniel Massey of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary ( Robert ) Roseboro, Sherly Colvin, Rose Durham, and Pearlie Knox and brother, Ralph Whitlock.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. April 7, 2011, at Pineville AME Zion Church. Officiating will be Pastor Alton R. Pegus. The eulogist will be the Rev. Ronnie McCorey. The burial will follow at Barber Memorial Cemetery. The family is receiving friends at 428 Hagins Street.

Services are entrusted to Parker Funeral Home.
