Matthew Howsare Obituary
TERRY, Miss. - Matthew Dwight Howsare, 25, of Terry, Miss., passed away Friday, May 6, 2011.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
Born in Rock Hill, S.C., Matt was the son of Steve and Dianne Price Howsare of Terry, Miss. He was employed by Triangle Trucking Company.
In addition to his parents, he will be sadly missed by his brother, Eric Howsare of Rock Hill; his beloved fiancée, Kerri Lynn Dowdle of Terry, Miss.; his paternal grandparents, Dwight and Norma Jean Howsare of Rock Hill; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Johannson of Rock Hill; and his many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Price.
Matt was a very caring and loving person who will truly be missed.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.

Baby you have changed my life for the better. I'm so thankful God put us together. You are the love of my life and I miss you so much. I'm so glad we got to express our love to one another just ours before you passed. You will always be a part of me and I knw you are my angel now. Its tough sleeping in our bed w/o you but our little talk each day makes it easier. I will love you foever and baby nothing will ever be the same with out you. I just wanted to express my sorrow at your loss, I did not know him, or the family but I did witness the accident, it happened right in front of my car on Friday envening. I have had a heavy heart since then and could not get him out of my mind.

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of such a sweet individual as Matt. He made everyone smile and laugh when getting his coffee every morning at Belk. We fought everyday about who's turn it was to bring breakfast. Belk is not the same without him. Words can't express my deepest sympathy. Matt you will truly be missed.

Mr. Steve, Words can not express all the time what our hearts would like to say. Matt knew how to make you laugh even at 5 o'clock in the morning at work. I always made sure the coffee pot was never empty when it came to you and him. The coffee pot will never be the same because Matt fingerprints will no longer be on it. For those of you who didn't have the greatest honor of meeting my cousin Matt, he was the most caring and fun person I have known. He always had a smile on his face. We spent a lot of our childhood swinging off the garage ( I was always too chicken and they let me know it : ) and hanging out in the tree house or the woods. Riding dirt bikes and go carts and climbing trees. Whatever we were doing we were always having fun and those are memories I will cherrish for the rest of my life. To Matt: Your life was cut too short and I never got to say goodbye but I know your spirit is in heaven now watching over all of us with that smile on your face. Goodbye.. I love and miss you so much.
