Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mrs. Reba S. Anderson, 86, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with Dr. Jerry Sosebee and Dr. Scott Davis officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park - Hollis Lakes Road. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm-1:45 pm.
Born in High Point, NC, Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward Smith and the late Bessie Sexton Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Benjamin Anderson; her sister, Carleen Rider; and her brother, Joseph Smith, Jr. She enjoyed sewing and crafts, shopping, reading, cooking and traveling with family and friends.. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and served in many capacities when she was able.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of WillowBrooke Court and the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House for the love and care given to Mrs. Anderson.
Surviving are her daughter, Deborah (Mike) Usher of Rock Hill; her son, Joe (Connie) Anderson of Lexington; three grandchildren, Michael B. (Sara) Usher, Ben Anderson, Katie (David) Oxner; two great-grandchildren, Hayes and Nora Usher; her "adopted" daughter, Ann Watkins; her brother-in-law, Ray Anderson of High Point, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Anderson's name to the Children's Attention Home, PO Box 2912, Rock Hill, SC, 29732-2912 or to Hope House Inc., PO Box 774, Rock Hill, SC, 29731.
