Ricky Clinton Obituary
CLOVER - Ricky Shane Clinton, 22, of Clover, S.C., died on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, S.C.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Midway Baptist Church, 12984 Hwy. 55 West, Clover, S.C., conducted by the Revs. Mike Wood and Mark Flemming. Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover.
Mr. Clinton was born on Feb. 11, 1989, in Rock Hill, S.C., to Charles Wayne Clinton and Tammy Ford Parra.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Judy Ann Ford and James Pride Jamison and paternal grandfather, Tommy Lee Clinton.
Survivors are his mother, Tammy Ford Parra and husband, Roland, of Blacksburg, S.C.; father, Charles Wayne Clinton and wife, Alison, of Clover; four brothers, Preston Clinton (April) of Clover and David Clinton (Maggie) of Blacksburg, and Jay Dover (Kristin) and Drew Dover (Tabitha), both of Clover; niece, Carley Beth Clinton and nephew, Easton Clinton; and grandparents, Ed and Ruth Christenbury of Clover, Sybil Adams of Clover, Donna Parker of Clover and Ernie Parra of Salt Springs, Fla.
Memorials may be made to Midway Baptist Church, 12984 Hwy. 55 West, Clover, SC 29710 or Clover Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 214, Clover, SC 29710.

Tammy and Family I just want each of you to know how my heart is saddened by your loss-(Tammy) you have always been a wonderful ,loving person and carry such love for your children. Wayne & Allison..Tammy & Roland..and the entire family, I was extremely saddened by the news of Ricky's passing. My thoughts and prayers have been with each of you since I first heard the news. Just remember that no matter how hard this is, God in his infinite wisdom has a master plan. He will bring you through this and carry you when you cannot go on your own anymore. I have never met you or your family nor had I ever met Ricky. But he as touched my heart in a way unimaginable. Loosing someone so young just really makes you realize you never know and don't take anything in life for granted. A great lesson learned for me and my family.
My daughter and her boyfriend learned this lesson from this accident also. they were there when it occured and they were praying for Ricky and all of you when the accident happened. We are all still praying for your family now.
Few people I know have mentioned what a wonderful family you have and what a wonderful person Ricky was. And from his picture I can tell he was. I hope to one day be able to meet the family of the person who changed our lives forever. Your family will forever be in our hearts and your son will never be forgotten.
