Ronald Allen "Ron" Dahlien

1955 - 2017

Ronald Allen Dahlien, 62, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away in peace on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Ron, originally from Minot, ND, worked as a data base administrator for Piedmont Natural Gas and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music, but his greatest joy was spending time with those that he loved; especially his grandchildren. Ron will be deeply missed by his friends and family and will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. Ron is survived by his wife Tammy Edwards Dahlien, of Rock Hill; his daughter, Jennifer Armstrong and husband, J.R. of Rock Hill; grandchildren, Devin and Landon; his mother, Lorraine Dahlien of Minot, ND; brother, Douglas Dahlien and sister-in-law, Kathy; sister, Carol Dahlien; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father, Don Dahlien; grandparents Iver and Inga Larson, of Minot, ND, and Sigfred and Edith Dahlien, Kenmare, ND. The family will receive friends at New Hope Baptist Church, 875 Neelys Creek Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730 at 2p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2017 with a memorial service to follow at 3:00p.m. conducted by the Reverend Barry Burleson and Reverend Andy Logan.
