Vickie Simpson Obituary
May 31, 1952 - June 21, 2024
Chester, South Carolina - She was a strong, funny, and devoted mother, sister, Nana, and friend who was taken home far too soon. She passed away on June 21, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center, surrounded by family who will miss her dearly. She avidly attended El Bethel United Methodist Church in Fort Lawn, SC. She leaves behind her son, Barry Ramsey; her granddaughter, Jessica Brantley and her great-granddaughter, Trinity Brantley as well as her sister, Trudie Ledford and her brothers, Bobby Simpson (T.J.), JR Simpson (Faye), and Donald Simpson (Melanie). She was preceded by her brothers, Joe Wesley Simpson and James Douglas Simpson, Jr. A farewell service will be 11 am, Saturday, June 28, 2024 at El Bethel United Methodist Church, 3497 Catawba River Rd., Fort Lawn, SC 29714. A luncheon will be held afterwards in the fellowship hall.

I am very sorry to learn of Vickie's passing. I remember Vickie from Sylvia Circle and as well as Trudie, Donald and Bobby. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during these times and days going forward.
