Dirk Edward Knuth was born on June 4, 1960, in St. Joseph, the son of Arthur and Eunice (Smith) Knuth.
Dirk passed away at his home in Hartford on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the age of 63. As to Dirk's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the Hartford United Methodist Church, were at 11 a.m. a memorial service to honor Dirk's memory will take place. The Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford has been entrusted with the arrangements. Those wishing to leave memorial condolences for the family may do so at www.calvin-leonard-fh.com.
Dirk was very passionate about spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved fishing, being outdoors and enjoyed hours in his wood shop creating beautiful things.
Dirk leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Cordon (Jessica) Knuth, Kati Knuth, Nick (Megan) Snider, Crystal (Eddie) Paris, Mary Carter, Bobby Tillery and Cassandra Knuth; numerous grandchildren; the love of his live, Charlene Sikes, and the mother of her children, Jodine Knuth. He is also survived by siblings: Duffy (Denise) Knuth, Bruce (Kenny) Knuth, Cory (Edith) Knuth, Loretta Kunth, Sheri (Todd) Capps and Ronnie Sullivan; several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Dirk was preceded in passing by a son, Jason Tillery, a daughter, Jessica McDonald, her parents; and his brothers: Brian Sullivan, Mike Sullivan and Gordon Knuth.
