The Edinger house was the neighborhood meeting place for fun times, including hunting and fishing, and living a wonderful childhood in Sodus with John and Jim and later with little brother Jerry! My best time with Jerry was when he was about 14, he and I went on one of his very first peasant hunting outings with his dog Tippy. Tippy flushed a rooster that flew straight down the railroad tracks right in front of Jerry. I yelled it´s your shot, shoot. Jerry had his shotgun shouldered but never fired. Tippy looked back at Jerry with what looked like he was saying " what´s wrong with you". I ask, why didn´t you shoot, Jerry? Jerry replied, " ain´t no shell in the gun"! My best fun memory of Jerry. Rest well little brother. See you on the other side!
