Bill was born July 26, 1945, in Benton Harbor, to Orville and Evelyn (Harner) Miller.
He graduated from Benton Harbor High School, the Class of 1963.
Bill worked in many different careers, including a police officer for Benton Harbor, he owned a car dealership, Bill Miller Auto Sales in St. Joseph, and his last job was in sales for first responders in the communication field. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, flying radio-controlled helicopters, fast cars and motorcycles and he spoiled his two dogs, Shelby and Sammie. His favorite past-time was spending time with his family.
Bill is survived by his wife, Carol (Leathers) Miller; daughters: Tammy Dollar of St. Joseph and Wendy (Mark) Morauske of Eau Claire; grandchildren: Andrew Dollar, Morgan Dollar, Nicholas Morauske and Zachary Morauske. Also, his step-children: Jeremiah McMillin, Tara McMillin (Rob Watkins), Carrie (Chris) Piechocki, and Daniel (Jodi) Sheets, seven step-grandsons and one step-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Pat Jenkins.

Bill reliably anchored the percussion section of the Fairplain Junior High band led by Ray Norberg. He was a master of the snare, bass drum, and triangle. It was this group which placed second of three entries in the annual Kiddies Day Parade, second only to the Maryland School for the Blind. I lost contact with Bill, but remember him fondly. My sympathies to his family. John Mahaffay
