Mother Eula Mae Rowley was born August 16, 1941, in a small town outside Blytheville, Arkansas named Dell, Arkansas. Born to Mary Ella (Young) Rogers and James Thomas. Mary Ella Rogers moved to Chicago, IL and James Thomas lived in Benton Harbor, Michigan. As a single mother before marriage to Richard Rowley, she made her living in as Eula Mae Washington.

She graduated from Harding High School. She always worked on continuing her education. Attending Marion Technical College and obtained her bachelor's degree in business administration from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

Eula Rowley worked 30 at Whirlpool Corporation. She also worked at Marion Power Shovel, Quaker Oats, Walmart and a Manager, and as a Substitute Teacher, for Marion City Schools. She and Richard Rowley owned a cleaning service called R&E Maintenance and Janitorial Services. They had contracts at Marion City Hall, Marion County Building and other private clients. They provided jobs and employment for many people.

Eula Rowley loved the Lord and served churches including Mayes Temple COGIC, Abundant Life Assemblies of God, Corinthian Temple COGIC Nurses Unit (Chicago, IL), King's Temple Apostolic Church and most recently at Bountiful New Life COGIC in Killeen, Texas.

She became a Mother of Kings Temple Church under Pastor Tyrone Kaiser. She was a kitchen volunteer. She also volunteered for Marion Harding Boosters and loved working with making and serving popcorn. She loved growing plants and her favorite flower was rose bushes. She enjoyed taking walks outside and cheerleading at the Senior Center in Killeen, Texas.

We can't forget how she loved shopping in every city she lived in. She had "a heart of gold" and helped many people throughout her life. She is going to be cherished and missed by her family, relatives and many good friends.

Proceeded in eternal life by her mother Mary Ella Rogers, father James Thomas, brother Moses Thomas, stepfather Curtis Rogers and husband Richard Rowley.

Eula Mae Rowley leaves to continue her legacy with one brother Charles Thomas. One daughter Teresa Washington Ramsey and one son Kevin Stevenson. Five grandchildren Isaiah Ramsey, Deshon Stevenson, Trent (Andrea) Ramsey and Daija Stevenson. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close relatives and friends.

Special acknowledgement to sister-in-law Maxine Thomas, niece Reba Thomas and nephews Antonio Thomas and Demetrius Thomas.
