Patrick White Obituary
July 22, 1980 - December 19, 2022
Raleigh, North Carolina - Patrick Thomas White, 42, of Raleigh, North Carolina, unexpectedly and tragically departed this life for life eternal on December 19, 2022.
Patrick was a devoted husband to the Reverend Molly Brock White and an outstanding and dedicated father to son Zeke, age 12, and daughter Phoebe, age 10. He is survived by his immediate family and by his parents, Mary Ann and Tom White of Beckley, West Virginia; his parents-in-law, Marsha and Sam Brock of Durham, North Carolina; his brother, Matthew White and his wife Courtney, of Hurricane, West Virginia, and their daughters, Megan and Allie; and his brother-in-law, Adam Brock and his wife Emma Rathbone of Los Angeles, California, and their son, Edward.
Patrick grew up in Beckley, West Virginia. He was a proud graduate of West Virginia University and West Virginia University School of Law. He was a member of the West Virginia State Bar and the North Carolina State Bar. Having worked at several law firms over the years, he most recently enjoyed the camaraderie of his friends and colleagues at Riddle & Brantley in Goldsboro and Raleigh, North Carolina, where he worked tirelessly for his clients and believed in justice and equity. A devout Christian, he was member of Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, and he served several years on the Clergy Spouse Association and on the Committee of Finance and Administration in the North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church.
A service of Death and Resurrection will be held on Friday, January 6th at 2:00 pm at Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, 2209 Fairview Rd. in Raleigh, North Carolina. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
