I don't think I will ever forget the first time I visited Cris' labyrinthine office: stacks of books and papers everywhere (seriously. everywhere.), rolled up prints leaning against the walls, a small desk and chair shoved in the back. It truly felt like I was peering into her brilliant mind. Thank you for everything Cris!

Cris was such a joy to work with and have dinner with. I am truly sad that we will miss our monthly talks. She was so accomplished and kind. I will always remember her with the utmost respect and admiration.
