Dad was tall, blond and had beautiful blue eyes. When he was in uniform, I thought he was the most handsome man I ever saw. Dad always knew how to make you feel safe. He knew how to make you laugh. He knew what to say to make you feel better about yourself. Most people who had the privilege of knowing him, loved him. Everyone respected him. It was an honor to have him as my father.
I always rested in the fact that Dad was never further then a phone call away. Now that he is gone I am left with a strange feeling and a deep emptiness. But our shared faith in God promises that Dad is now in heaven. I am comforted knowing that one day we will meet again and live together, forever. Until that day I will miss him dearly. I love you Dad.
Your daughter, Elsie Jo

Fritz was a very nice guy and a close friend of the family. He was a Philadelphia Police Officer, and served my town of Roxborough (Philadelphia) for many years. He also drove school buses for the little kids. He used to drive a yellow 1970 vw beatle. He loved that car. God Bless you Fritz, and thank you for being such a good friend to my mom... R.I.P.
