Gerald Bamberger Obituary

Gerald F. Bamberger, 93, of Sarasota, FL, died on Dec. 2, 2013.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ursula; their children Gale (Philip Davis), Richard (Barbara), Annette (Marc Lieber), and Peter (Ellen); their devoted grandchildren Jonah (Ayelet), Corina, Sivan, Daniel, Rachel, Talia, Maya, Zachary, Sarah, and Noa, their loving great-grandchildren Liam and Natan; and by his sister, Vera, numerous cousins, nieces and friends. After immigrating to the United States from Germany in 1938, Gerald served as a specialist in psychological warfare with the Allied Forces in Europe during WW II. A plastics pioneer, he established Bamberger Polymers Inc. in 1967, retiring from business in 1984. Funeral arrangements are private.

It is devastating to lose this brilliant man , our neighbor at SBC. In our Memoirs Group he always talked about his wonderful family .We should find consolation knowing that his and Ursula's values will live on in their children and grandchildren .
