When I moved to Golden Sands Drive, it was always a comfort to talk with Henry and see his smiling face. He was a great man and truly a blessing to me.

I was glad to spend some time with Mahala and Henry in their home in Florida . I felt honored to be there.I was very impressed with their relationship, and the atmosphere of their home. Each morning they read the Bible and prayed, then had breakfast to start the day. I spent time with them while doing work on the rentals . come home for lunch and had a nap. When I was a child and they lived in Indiana, they opened their home to my bro. Rich and me . not sure for how long , but we went to school from there . Salinda and Lorene were babes. Aunt Mahala and Uncle Henry are a part of my good heritage. May you all be blessed with good memories.

I enjoyed being around Uncle Henry and was very glad for the year I spent living in Sarasota in 1992-93. I admired both Uncle Henry and Aunt Mahala. I also appreciated our other Sarasota relatives and look back at that year with many happy memories. Although Oregon is my home, Sarasota will always have a special place in my heart because of the special people that live there. I also enjoyed our time with Henry and Fannie and the rest of the family the Christmas 2005.

Uncle Henry was a favorite with us and especially our children. His sense of humor and fun was enjoyed by all. We will miss his friendly smile and the interest he showed in our family. May God bless the family.
