Jerome Towe Obituary
Dec. 5, 1931 - May 5, 2013
Jerome D. Towe, age 81, of Walnut Hill, Hockessin, DE and Plantation Golf and Country Club, Venice, FL, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Cokesbury Village.
Mr. Towe, a former Hercules Incorporated executive, retired in 1990. His parents, the Honorable Harry L. Towe and Eliza Binns Towe, and sister, Virginia T. Beck, predeceased him. His wife of 34 years, Joan C. died in 1991.
He is survived by son J. Donald of Landenberg, PA, his wife Deb, and twin granddaughters Caitlin and Kendall; son Robert B. of Hockessin, his wife Linda and grandsons Rob, Pete and Steve; daughter Lisa Towe Betty, her husband Gary and granddaughter Bridget; brother Harry B. of Galloway Ridge, NC; and dear friend, Sonja W. Pfautz.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Chandler Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA 18015, c/o The Jerome D. Towe Endowed Scholarship Fund or to the Ronald McDonald House, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.

I've known Jerry for a long time. We were fraternity brothers at.
Lehigh and I was the best man at his wedding. I enjoyed the
tailgate parties and football games at Lehigh with him. He will be missed.

Jerry was one of the most loyal of Jim's Hercules friends. We had lots of laughs with Jerry and Joan. I know that you and the grandchildren will miss him. We'll all treasure his memory.
