Dear Jeff and all the Lapinski family, We are sorry that we can't be with you tomorrow for Jason's memorial. We have many fond memories of living next door as we moved in when Jason was about 11 years old. Your parents and all of you were the best neighbors ever! We have two favorite memories of Jason. One of Halloween the year that he built a black coffin, dressed up in a Dracula-like costume and terrified the kids when he'd lift the lid and sit up when they came for candy. Ha-he did an awesome job on that project! Our other memory was at one of your family weddings. The band started to play "Walk Like an Egyptian" and Jason nailed it through the entire dance!
He was just a really nice guy and so interesting, and we are so saddened to learn of his death. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Jason-you deserve it, but you are gone too soon.
