Roger and Dean, Nadine and I meant to meet and visit with you many times over the few years that we knew each other, but something always got into the way. Living within 300 miles of each other one would think that we could have made the connection, but somehow t was not to be. While in Nashville I learned that you, myself, Nadine my son James and his wife were there at the same time. I learned of this a day or two after you had flown home. We were heading home from Georgia where my grandson Larry had graduated from the Army boot camp, Went on to Missouri where we met with our cousin, Ron Robertson and visited a couple of days. May we meet in our final resting place above.
May God bless you and give you peace.
Your Cousin Larry Robertson

Chief, Thank you for everything you have done for our Great Nation and the many countries and people that have benefited from your wisdom and sacrifices. We cannot thank you enough Dean and family for allowing Chief to give some much throughout the many years and the sacrifices you and your family have endured from the extended hours, deployments, short tours and much more. He will be missed greatly and we can only thank God for giving us the time we had with him. RIP Chief, and we pray that God comforts you and the family and we know that Robbie is resting peacefully with God. Love the Montano Family, (Edwards AFB 1998-2002)

Roger and I became friends after being assigned to Offut AFB NE. He was a true Transporter and always had a story to tell. We traveled together to California and visited his home. We enjoyed the food and had a great visit with family. We kept in contact by phone and Email and we were able to visit last summer and had a wonderful lunch with Dean.
He will be missed by all and may he rest in peace.
