David Dillow Obituary
February 12, 1944 - June 12, 2024
Dr. David Dillow, 80, of Hickory, NC, passed away on June 12th, 2024.
David was born to Harold and Amelia Dillow in Michigan. He finished at the top of his class at Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine to earn his D.D.S. and then completed his Dental Residency in the United States Army before moving to Hickory, NC, where he was an avid tennis player, ski racer, sailor, and outdoorsman. He was also a member of Kiwanis and served as President of the Catawba Valley Ski Club.
David is survived by his wife, Linda Dillow; his children, Chris and Amber Dillow; as well as siblings, Patricia Dillow Wagner, Kathryn Dillow McWhirk, and Bobby Dillow.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on September 14th, 2024, at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Hickory, NC.
David's family would like to amplify the famous singer Tina Turner's last wishes that everyone suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease would check their blood pressure according to the recommendations of their Nephrologist.

I am saddened to learn of Dr. Dillow's passing. When I was interim Organist/Choirmaster in the late 1980s, Lindy sang in the choir and she also helped me become a patient of her husband when I had some serious dental issues. He was so kind and generous with his talents and skills. I wish the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit to come upon Lindy and their family during this sad time.
