To the Kanupp family--Ed was the kind of person who loved all, cherished his family, made himself available for others in need. I met Ed and Ann through the Catawba Valley Landlord's Assoc. and he was a great person to bounce your thought and concerns off of and would get a straight answer, and was always asking about our daughter and what she was doing, and we talked about his family and what they were up to. Catawba County and this community is and will miss a wonderful Christian man who put himself before others. You are one of God's Special messengers.

I met Ed many, many years ago at meetings of the Catawba County Landlords Association. We shared a common interest and often shared ideas and problems during meetings, and even standing in the parking lot 30 minutes after all had gone home for the night. Ed was that type of friend, he cared. To Ann and the Kanupp Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will miss my dear friend. Proud to say, "Ed was a good Friend of mine". Rest in Peace, Ed.
