Gary David Smith, 67, of Lincolnton, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Born June 6, 1954, he was the son of the late Fred Smith and Daisy Smith Reid.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Faye Smith; daughter, Stacey Smith Beaver (Gary); two granddaughters, Lindsey Gaus and Micah Beaver; and one great-granddaughter, Aurora Beaver.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 3, at Zion Cemetery in Lincolnton, at the intersection of Flay and Shoal Rd., with Pastor Larry Blakley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Liberty Baptist of Maiden, 2054 West Maiden Rd., Maiden, NC 28650.
