Survivors, daughter, Lynn Redman and finace, Jimmy McKnight, Mooresville, NC; son, Danny Ray Lassiter, Lexington, NC; father, David D. Arnett, Hickory, NC; brothers, Jimmy Arnett, Hickory, NC,
Roger Arnett and wife Angela, Icard, NC; grandson, Cody Cook, Hickory, NC.
Memorial Service: Friday, August 23, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Bright Light Tabernacle at 2777 Highland Avenue NE, Hickory, North Carolina.

She was such a a sweet lady she always came to Springs of Catawba and played music and and sang for our residents and every. Time when she was done she kissed each one of them on the forehead and told them that she loved them she will truly be missed my heart goes out to the family and friends

All of our family loved Jean very much and missed her tremendously when she moved to Hickory. She was such a sweet and kind person always. We were so sorry to learn of her recent illness and passing.

To Jean's family: I am so very sorry for your loss. I called Jean my "Dollar Tree Friend". For many months, we ran into each other in Dollar Tree every Sat. morning. One day we introduced ourselves and started talking. I began to look forward to seeing her each week. We had agreed to meet for lunch sometime to get to know each other better. Unfortunately circumstances required a change in my schedule so we never got to do that lunch. Jean was a sweet, wonderful lady whose Christian faith shone without her saying a word about it. My life is richer for having known her. I will always remember and miss her.
