December 29, 1930 - December 3, 2024

Jack Lewis Power, age 93 passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Piedmont Crossing.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday December 8th at 1:30 p.m. at Piedmont Crossing "Unity Place", 100 Hedrick Drive, Thomasville, NC, with Chaplin Bob Symanski officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the cemetery.

Jack was born in Laurens County, SC, December 29, 1930, to Morris Lumen Power Sr. and Mittie Parks Power. Jack served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1954. He was later employed by Coble Dairy Products as Chief Financial Officer. He is preceded in death by his parents; wives Martha Smith Power and Mary Killian Power, son in-law Jim Robertson, three brothers, and four sisters.

Surviving are his daughters; Beverly Gobble (Ron) and Ramona Robertson, sister Doris Baker, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ, 1002 E. Holly Grove Road, Lexington, NC 27292.

Visited Jack on a regular basis last few years thru the Under-shepherd Program at Mt. Tabor. Always looked forward to my visits with Jack his smile could brighten anyone’s day. Last Christmas during our devotions, we spoke of family and the holidays. Jack teared uphe had a deep love for his family. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and blessings for New Year.
