Justin Grant Yoder, 40, of Summerville, S.C., formerly of Hickory, passed away from COVID-19 Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Summerville Medical Center.
Justin was born Oct. 26, 1980, in Hickory, son of Patricia Williams Wilmoth (stepfather, Kenneth); and father, Norris Yoder (stepmother, Diane).
Justin graduated from Fred T. Foard in Newton and then received his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from UNCC in Charlotte. Justin enjoyed fishing, boating and hunting. He was an active member of Summerbrook Church. He was in charge of the security team at the church and served in many other areas, including a mission trip last year to Haiti, and wanted to go back this year.
Survivors are his wife, Renee Yoder; daughter, Karsyn Yoder; and stepson, Nathan Stavrakas of Charlotte Memorials may be made to Summerbrook Church, 676 Orangeburg Rd., Summerville, S.C., 29483.
