Kemp Honeycutt Jr.

Kemp Honeycutt, Jr. STAUNTON, Va. Kemp C. Honeycutt, Jr., 85, died on May 11, 2011. He was born in Newton, N.C. on Aug. 1, 1925, to the late Kemp Honeycutt, Sr. and Pauline Hunsucker Honeycutt. He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II and a graduate of Lenoir Rhyne University. He was salesman for Broyhill Furniture for many years. His parents and wife, Mary Bright Honeycutt, preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, Kemp Honeycutt III, and his wife Deb, of Houston Texas; daughters, Gail Honeycutt of Los Angeles, Calif; Anne Honeycutt Claar and her husband, Reg, of Palmira, Va; one step granddaughter; three step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; one sister, Louise H. Graham Schell, and Joe, of Conover, and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 17 in Staunton Va.
