Maranda Curtis Obituary

HICKORY - Maranda Jean Curtis, infant daughter of Mark and Amanda Curtis of Hickory, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem. She was born Dec. 5, 2006. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Malachi William Curtis of the home; her twin brother, Mark Calvin Curtis of the home; her paternal grandparents, Mark Lemuel Curtis and Dib Pitts and Nancy and Tony Whitlock of Hickory; her maternal grandparents, Tim and Jean Young of Hickory; a paternal great-grandmother, Virginia C. Curtis; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. A private family graveside service will be held at South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. Bass-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family of little Maranda Jean Curtis.

We met you at Forsyth's NICU. We were preparing to go home with our daughter Kaylee a few days after your son was admitted.
I can only magine what you are going through after losing your daughter. I pray that your son is doing well now & getting bigger & stronger each day. We will keep you in our thoughts & prayers as you go through these difficult times.
