Jim, James, Janis & John.
We were saddened to hear of Marie's passing. She was such a delightful lady.
I would see her around the neighborhood & in later years riding her chair up & down Norwood Street.
Some of my fondest memories were of her coming in Lee & Robbins to buy clothing for her family. I always enjoyed helping her and hearing her laugh.
I enjoyed the times at Fort Defiance. It was always good to her the history of Caldwell and other things.

Jim, James, Janis and John, I am so saddened to hear of Maria's passing. She was great southern lady with so much charm. She will be dearly missed by all and most espcially missed in our Fort circles. She was a great champion of our dear little Fort Defiance restoration and will forever be a huge part of us. I cannot tell you how much she meant to me in her support and encouragement on days when I felt I couldn't carry on this burden. She was a very bright spot in my life and mission. Please know that her torch will always burn bright.

Dear Hogan family. I am so sorry for the loss of Marie. She was one of the dearest people I had the privilege to know. She always smiled and I know she is entertaining the angels now.
