August 14, 1958 - May 21, 2023
Rev. Marsha Eades Joyner, age 64, of Sherrills Ford, N.C. went home to meet her Lord and Savior Ascension Sunday May 21, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born August 14, 1958 in Catawba County daughter of the late Harold Joel Eades and Thelma Mathis Eades.
One of her greatest joys was serving the Lord and she did it faithfully for over 20 years, serving as pastor in the Methodist Church. Her other great joy, besides her flowers, was her grandchildren who she dearly loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters. Kay was her other mother who helped raised her, Dixie, Randy, Coyte and Tim. She was the baby of the family. Her other Parents, Mae Nell and Ralph Lockman also preceded her in death.
Marsha is survived by her husband, Walter Ray Joyner; her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Walton and husband, Scott Walton and their sons, Nicholas and Daniel and son, Clinton Harold Joyner and wife, Kala and their children, Wyatt, Esther, Adelaide and Lorelei.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Shiloh Methodist Church with the Memorial services following at 3 p.m. with Rev. David Nolan officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Shiloh Methodist Church, 1648 Shiloh Church Road, Claremont 28610 and marked as Disaffiliation Fund.

Marsha has always been their when everyone needed her and most of all for my sweet momma. We have had so many Funtimes with Marsha and Walter growing and I will forever cherish those please give my dad a big kiss and hug and tell him we miss him dearly.

I will never forget the love, prayers and support, Marsha and Walter gave me when I went through college and Divinity School. I will always remember Marsha and keep her close to my heart. I look forward to seeing her again.
