Nathaniel Adam Schroeter

VALE - Nathaniel Adam Schroeter, 15, of Trinity Church Road, died Saturday April 21, 2007, as the result of a dirt bike accident. The son of Curt Michael and Lisa Dawn Slater Schroeter of the home, he was born Dec. 3, 1991, in St. Petersburg, Fla. Nathan was a freshman at West Lincoln High School, where he was an honor student. He was a National Youth Leaders nominee and avid sports fan. His favorite team was the Panthers. Survivors, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Jamie Schroeter and Cody Schroeter of the home; paternal grandparents, Rudolf and Dow Schroeter of Hickory and Ilona Schumacher of Largo, Fla.; and maternal grandparents, Larry and Peggy Slater of Maiden. A Celebration of Nathan's life will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vale, with Pastor John Locke officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
