Dear Bush Family,
I have known "Rooster"" most of my life. My Dad, Harold Reeves, used to buy cars from him. My Dad was a car salesman too. He always said Rooster would do him right. My first car was bought from Rooster, it was a 61 Comet. After I was grown, we always came back to him for cars. He was one of a kind. So, dear family, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God wrap his arms around each of you and help you through this difficult time. Love and prayers.

To Jeanne, Barbara, Ginny, Randy and Bush family,
I am saddened to hear of the loss of Rooster. My heart sank in my chest as I read the text that was sent to me about his passing. I last saw him a little more than a year ago and he was always more interested in how others were doing than to talk about himself.
As you know better than I, Rooster was a rare find. He was a treasure from the Lord and a real friend to all with whom he came in contact. He was a true friend and partner to me. Of course, he loved his family more than anything else and I am so grieved and heartbroken for you to at his passing.
As I reflect on his presence on this earth, in my opinion, he was the definition of fairness and honesty. His personality and people skills were unmatched by anyone I have met in my entire life. Rooster was a business genius with a strong foundation and traditional core values. He demonstrated a positive example of truth and a benchmark for others to follow in his daily living.
Rooster was a true entrepreneur without boundaries and he did not know the meaning of defeat. His character was his badge of honor, and his contagious demeanor and positive persona will never be matched or replaced.
I, for one, am most blessed to have walked on this earth beside him. Without a doubt my life, my career, and my ministry are stronger and more effective because he cared to share his influence, mentorship and love with me. I will forever be grateful for the life of Rooster Bush and I thank the Lord for his presence in my life.
We have lost a polished gem whose loss will be felt by our world, our state, our community and by me for many years to come. He made our world a better place to live, work and play.
At a time of such great loss, there are no words that are adequate to really express my feelings, but the memories of Ransom Lee “Rooster” Bush Jr. will echo through these hills and through our lives forever.
My sympathy, thoughts, and sincere prayers are with you and the entire Bush family during the days months and years ahead.
With Love and deepest sympathy,
Jamie Parsons
