CONOVER - Mrs. Teresa Lynn Bolick Jones, 48, of Conover, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at her residence after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 1, 1962, in Catawba County to Gracie Alice Matthews Bolick and the late Thomas Franklin Bolick. Mrs. Jones was employed as the breakfast manager for McDonald's for more than 30 years. She was a 1980 graduate of Bunker Hill High School and a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roy and Helen Matthews, and paternal grandparents, Frank and Nina Bolick. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 27 1/2 years, Charlie W. Jones Jr.; mother, Gracie Matthews Bolick of Conover; sister, Gilda B. Huffman and husband, J.V. Huffman Jr., of Claremont; brother, Terry F. Bolick and wife, Donna, of Conover; sisters-in-law, Dianne J. Bandy and husband, Jimmy, of Denver, N.C., and Teresa J. Medlin and husband, Jeff, of Claremont; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles W. Jones Sr. and wife, Jeanette, of Newton; nieces, Kristen Bolick and Allison Bolick, both of Conover, Emily Cansler and husband, Justin, of Hickory, and Hannah Huffman of Claremont; nephews, Trevin Bolick of Conover, Joshua Huffman of Mebane, Judge Huffman and and Randy Medlin, both of Claremont, and Andrew Bandy of Denver, N.C.; and great-niece, Kennedy Cansler. A service of remembrance will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Conover, with the Revs. Paul Birner and Matthew Schilling officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m., prior to the service, at the church. Pallbearers will be Greg Hefner, Barry Matthews, Michael Link, Darrell Freeman, David White and Drew White.
