Roger Dwayne Geeson

1967 - 2024

Roger Dwayne Geeson, beloved husband, father, papa, son, brother and friend passed away on Jan. 23, 2024, at the age of 56. He was surrounded by his family in Palm Springs.
Born on Oct. 27, 1967, Roger was the son of Philip and Gay Geeson of Morongo Valley.
Roger is survived by his wife of 35 years, Georgia Geeson, and their children, Brooke Dudra (m. Shane Dudra), Krystal Kusmieruk (m. Jakub Kusmieruk), and adored by his grandchildren Eva and Mia Vrhovnik, Henryk Kusmieruk and Zachary Dudra.
Roger also leaves behind his sisters, Rhonda Wallace, Rebecca Yakimow (m. Curtis Yakimow), brothers, William Geeson and Robert Geeson. Additionally, he had a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Philip Geeson.
Roger dedicated 30 years to the plumbing industry, working as a journeyman plumber. He was highly skilled in his profession and took pride in his work. Roger coached his daughters throughout their elementary years and co-founded a non-profit for girls' basketball for ages 8-18, he enjoyed coaching for 15 years.
In his free time, Roger loved fishing, camping, coaching, playing and watching sports. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and being a papa. He cherished every moment with his loved ones, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.
A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Sunday, Feb. 25. Please contact a family member for service details.
Roger will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedications and cherished memories.
