William Welch Obituary
He was born in Indio, California, to Paul Raymond Welch and Maria Belen Banuelos.
He lived in Yucca Valley the past 20 years and at tended Yucca Valley High School.
William was a big fan and participant of MMA/UFC sports and loved DragonBall Z animation.
He worked in various occupations, such as several years at Mesquite Ridge Country Club in Rancho Mirage doing golfing landscape, construction worker, C.N.A. and caregiver, and as a certified bartender.
He had one child, his daughter Allison Welch, who resides in Yucca Valley.
His heart belonged to his true love, Crystal Iglesias.
He is survived by his many brothers and sisters, Kevin, Jacquelin, R. James, Kimberly, Kari, Joel, Veronica, Marcos and Janneth, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be May 22 at Wiefels Funeral Home in Yucca Valley, from 10 a.m. to noon.

I had a dream about you last night, you kept trying to tell me about your daughter but things kept interrupting us. I looked for you today 01.14.25 and found this, my heart hurts for every person you left behind.
We were bffs before that was even a thing. I'm not sure how we became friends but I'm so glad for all the time and laughs we had through middle and high school. The hundreds of hours we spent on the phone, the secrets we kept and the insane scenarios we'd come up with.
So many good memories like when you were upset because I spent too much time "doing band" so you joined marching band, laughing so hard we'd cry, hate on whoever we liked at the time smh, the day you pulled me to the vending machine to tell me you were going to be a dad and you were so happy, when you had to change high schools but still called me every day after school, when you showed up at my mom's with your little girl all dressed up like a little doll and the last time I saw you in 2015 and we picked up right where we left off. I introduced you to a guy I was dating, I told you I thought I was going to marry him and you said he seemed like a nice guy, we couldn't stop talking so you came into the bathroom to keep talking without even thinking about it. Well I married that nice guy, we have a kid and a house and I'm so glad you saw the start of my grownup life.
Until we meet again William KIRK Welch, love youuuu!
William was super intelligent, witty and loving. No matter what was happening in his life he showed kindness, grit and love.
