Barbara Terry Obituary

Early Friday morning, September 15, 2023, Barbara Jean Terry (Barbara Ray Baugh), of Ava, MO was called to her forever home. Barbara was born December 2, 1938 in Burnet Texas, and was raised in the Highland Lakes area.

Proverbs 31 describes a godly woman as being diligent, having a keen sense for business matters, preparing for the future, being a good teacher, dedicated to her family, having virtue that shows, and, above all else, possesses the primary characteristic of biblical wisdom, the fear of the Lord. Barbara was a godly woman, who loved the Lord and her family, and set an example for all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren that will lead them all of their lives. Heaven only knows what a wonderful and eternal impact her faith and prayer has had on everyone she touched.

As the Matriarch of her family, she is survived by six of her children; Norman, Mary, Christopher, Baylor, Amy, and Rebecca (Faye). She will be forever missed by dozens who called her MeMaw, and dozens more who knew her as Grand.

The family is asking for no flowers to be sent, as they will be having a private service at a later date. The world will be forever a better place for her having passed through it.

Barbara was a kind, loving, friendly soul. She had wonderful Southern charm , she was very much like my Grandmother was ,like so many Texas women are.
