Glenna H. Critchlow Obituary

PRESTON- Our loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Glenna Marie Hunsaker Crichlow, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning Feb. 28, 2008, in Preston, Idaho. She was born July 6, 1932, in Tremonton, Utah, to Glendale and Vilate Baird Hunsaker.
During her childhood and youth, she suffered poor health and a terrible car accident, but her strong spirit and determination helped her through these and other of life's difficulties. She married Dale Vernon Critchlow on May 11, 1950. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. She often commented that she was impressed with Dale's care and kindness.
She loved to cook, camp, travel and read. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings over the years. She also loved handicrafts and volunteered for the Pink Ladies. She loved visiting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dale, of Preston; two sons and two daughters, Paul Dale (Linda) Critchlow of Georgetown, Idaho, Norene Critchlow of Preston, Jay Kelly (Paula) Critchlow of Sandy, Utah, and Cindy Ann (Dan) Brown of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray (Sally) Whitaker of Fruit Heights, Utah, Dee (Marguerite) Hunsaker of South Willard, Utah; and by a sister, Linda (Wayne) White of Logan, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Curtis B. Hunsaker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2008, in the Preston Fifth Ward Chapel, 213 S. 2nd East, Preston, with Bishop Craig Haslam conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment will be in the Honeyville, Utah, Cemetery. Dear Dale and family,
We want to express our sympathy to you at this time. We enjoyed so much our association with Glenna. At this time we are teaching in China and cannot be there to pay our respects. May the Lord bless you at this time.

Dear Family, We have many fond memories of our time in Preston. Dick and I spent 16 years there and consider Dale and Glenna good friends. I treasure the time I spent with that crazy group of women of which Glenna was a member. We had GOOD food, GOOD laughs, and out of it, priceless friendships.
Dick knows Dale through UP&L and always speaks highly of him.
Dale, we wish you well at this time. May you and your family KNOW the love Heavenly Father has for you. Keep the faith.
Love,
Connie and Dick Bowman

Sorry to hear of your mother's passing Jay. She was a great lady, always pleasant to be around. I pray for you & Paula and your children, your father and siblings at this time of mourning.

It was our pleasure to know Glenna from the time she was a sweet child. We admired her for the life she had. We were always happy to have her come into our life. We will miss her, but know she is aty peace.

I am very glad I had the opportunity to visit with cousin Glenna a couple of years ago, with my father Ralph Baird. She was very sweet and it meant a lot to my dad who passed away in Dec. 2007
