Jacob Pack Obituary
In 1996 he moved with his family to Logan, Utah, where he attended Ellis Elementary School, Hillcrest Elementary School, Mount Logan Middle School and graduated from Logan High School in 2009.
Jacob was an avid computer wiz throughout his teenage years and achieved the Sterling Scholar Award in computer science at Logan High. After graduation he volunteered for the U.S. Army Reserve, went through boot camp at Fort Jackson, S.C., and received specialized training in Fort Lee, Va. As a reservist Jacob loved his unit based in Ogden, Utah, and was proud to serve his county.
Known for his big smile and dry sense of humor, Jacob will be missed by his co-workers, many friends and family.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Robert and Lorri Pack; siblings, Jurnee and Justin Pack; half-brothers, Ben (Sharon) Pack and Jordan Pack; half-sister, Angela Pack; and grandparents Raymond and Eileen Tondevold and Frederick Pack.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, at the LDS Lundstrom Park chapel, 1260 N. 1600 East in Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the chapel.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. No one prepares us for the pain of losing a child. I too lost my son in similar circumstances so I do understand the huge void that has been left in your heart. Just know that Jacob is with God, in his loving arms. You will see him again, your family one day will be reunited. Until then hold on to the joy and happiness Jacob brought to your family.

Jacob was a great guy he was funny and very kind. I sort of grew up with him. I wish I would have talked to him more but He is in a better place now may he rest in peace.

I am so sorry. I am thinking of your family and praying for you. I wanted to tell a special little story about Jacob. One time when you brought dinner in to me Jacob came along carrying some of the food. He had this look on his face that was so kind and loving like he cared so much that we had a good meal. I was so touched that a cute young man like that would be so caring.
