Kyle Carpenter
October 2, 1945 - January 18, 2018
Kyle Lloyd Carpenter, 72, passed away January 18, 2018. He was born October 2, 1945, to Lloyd Walter Carpenter and Elaine Clawson in Cedar City Utah. Kyle served an LDS mission to Ontario Canada. After returning from his mission, Kyle joined the US Army where he drove truck until his honorable discharge in 1977. He went on to continue what he loved most, driving semi-trucks up until his health wouldn't allow. Kyle loved to see the country and spend time with his dogs. He also like to talk to people and had a nickname for everyone. He married Peggy Call in 1991 and soon after moved to Preston where he spent the rest of his life. He is survived by his wife Peggy, his dog Brandy, a sister Nancy (Richard) Ryan, his brother Randell (Julie) Carpenter and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the mortuary. Military rites and interment will be in the Hyrum, Utah, Cemetery.
