Oh, dear loved ones of Andrew: I was saddened to learn that you beautiful, intelligent son had departed this earth to join his Creator. I knew him from an anonymous Sunday night group at 1st Presbyterian Church and listened intently. I always considered him to be an intellectual -- almost too sensitive and intelligent for this world in these times. He was gifted and gentle and in very crass times like these, I listened to his heart and struggles with interest. He was a blessing to our group and I, upon learning of his unexpected death, was heartsick for you. He was kind. He was very smart. He had a heart. Be very proud of the son you raised. My friends at that meeting will miss him. May our loving God bless your hearts and home in these quiet hours ahead. He was a beautiful child of God. The Peace of Christ to you. He is thrashing out the philosophies of the world with Our God these days. Wouldn't we all love to be in on that session! Blessings, and God's loving to you during your days of grief and love.

We are saddened by this life ended and hope the memories of Andy flourish. His date of birth is the same as Darryl, (month, day) and this means nothing but was a point of conversation with them. And the conversations are/were memorable.

I'm so sorry to hear about Andrew. I worked with him at the Fed and when I was new to the job he went out of his way to include me in social events and to get to know me, which was so kind. I am also from Michigan and we often talked about how much we enjoyed Lake Michigan in the summer. He was such a nice person and he'll be missed.
