Glen Rypma Obituary
Glen was a member of Montello Park Christian Reformed Church and more recently a member of Graafschap Christian Reformed Church. He was employed by Chris-Craft Boat Company for 39 years and by Haworth, Inc. for 5 years. Glen was also an avid Holland Christian sports supporter and fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Glen is survived by his wife of 71 years, Shirley Rypma; children, Randall and Sharon Rypma of Holland, Rick and Pauline Rypma of Holland; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ernest (Dorothy) Zoerhof of Holland, Mrs. Gary (Leona) Plasman of Holland; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., Holland, with Rev. Henry Vanden Heuvel officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Visiting hours are scheduled for 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 6, also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland and Holland Christian CHAMPS Athletic Boosters.
