Juan Fuentes Obituary
Juan Pablo Fuentes born in Alice, Texas March 2, 1949 to Petra and Pablo. He moved from Texas to Holland where he raised his family. He retired from Weatherford oil in 2013. He followed his heart back to Texas where he spent his last few years of life.
Juan took great pride in his children and grandchildren and often shared stories of them. He was an avid traveler and was always on the go. Often he did not have a destination just went wherever the highway took him. He had a passion to sing and play musical instruments in the band "Gama". Outside of the band he loved to pick his guitar as a form of relaxation.
Surviving family include former wife and caregiver, Yolanda; sons, Michael (Laurie), Edwardo (Melanie); daughter, Julie; Sisters, Sabina, Maggie (Julio), Elena, Judy; brothers, Manuel (Shawn) from Texas, Joe (Yolanda) and Jessie (Alicia), from Michigan; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents; and son, Robby Lee.
He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Much appreciation to Kindred at Home Hospice of Grand Rapids for assisting with his care.
A time of visitation will be from 11:45-12:45 Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland, with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to Kindred at Home Hospice. www.langelandsterenberg.com

Our sincere condolences and prayers to the entire Fuentes Family. Tio Juan will be greatly missed. We have many fond memories of Tio Juan. He had a beautiful smile, a great sense of humor and a generous heart. He could always make us laugh. As a child, I always looked forward to Tio Juan, Tia Yolanda and the kids coming to visit during the summer. We will always hold those memories in our hearts.....
