Thurston Goff Obituary
Mr. Thurston Maine Goff, Jr., age 82, of Bonifay, Florida, passed away February 21, 2023, at Marianna Health and Rehab Center in Marianna, Florida. He was born October 29, 1940, in Hartford, Alabama to the late Thurston Maine Goff, Sr. and Gladys Holland Goff. In addition to his parents, Maine was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harmon and Nora Holland of Esto, FL and one sister, Minnie Wilson.
Mr. Goff is survived by two brothers, Monroe H. Goff and wife Janice of Dothan, AL and Jerry Goff of Bonifay, FL; four sisters, Elizabeth Goff and husband Cliff McGlotten of San Antonio, TX, Suzanne Dean and husband John of Enterprise, AL, Charlotte Goff of Dothan, AL, and Gloria Turner and husband James of Panama City Beach, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Goff was a proud graduate of HCHS 1961. He received certification in Horticulture Sciences at Tampa, FL and was retired from Washington County School Board, Chipley, FL State of Florida. He was a devoted member of Sam's Place HWY 79.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A service will be held at a later date.
