Carol Louque Obituary

Carol Chaisson Louque, 65, was born Feb. 24, 1950, and passed away at home Friday, March 27, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was a native and resident of Chackbay.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday, March 31, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Louque Sr.; sons, Richard J. Louque Jr. and Aaron P. Louque; granddaughter, Lani R. Louque; daughters-in-law, Amanda C. Louque and Madaline D. Louque; sister, Doris Lassere; and brothers, Roy, Robert and Donald Chaisson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleore J. Chaisson and Cecile Gautreaux Chaisson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Carol Ann. She was always there for all the children of Chackbay and loved them all. She will never be forgotten. My prayers are with her family's. May the perpetual light shine upon her and may your faith in God see you through your time of loss.

Such wonderful and fond memories I will always cherish. We coached girls softball many years together. While I was teaching at Sixth Ward Middle School, she spent many days as part of our PTC. Such fun times! Rest in peace Carol.
