Denecia Billiot Obituary
Denecia Naquin Billiot, 96, a native and resident of Isle De Jean Charles, Louisiana passed away on December 22, 2020.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue from 8:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Pointe-aux-Chenes. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Wenceslaus "Boyo" Billiot, Jr. (Nora), Robert "Baudean" Billiot Sr. (Tanya), Adam Billiot Sr. (Lottie); daughters, Judyann Billiot, Kathy Dardar (Mickey Sr.), Theresa "Betty" Billiot; brother, Albert Naquin; sisters, Nolia Dupre and Anzelie Dardar; 17 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wenceslaus Billiot Sr.; parents, Adam Naquin and Valorine Bourg Naquin; daughter, Alfreda Eve Billiot Jones; brothers, Harry Naquin, Deme Naquin, Pierre Naquin, Gabriel Naquin, Bernard Naquin, Gustav Naquin, Simon Naquin, grandson, Wenceslaus Omar Dardar.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue LLC is in charge of arrangements.

Hello Boyo and family. Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. I did not know her, but she must have been a wonderful woman to raise a son like you Boyo. She had a big heart and passed some of it on to you. Although it was many years ago when we worked together, I remember how good you were at your job. A good Captain! Savor the memories of your Mom and it will bring you joy!
