Eddie Fonseca Obituary
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia B. Fonseca; father of Winnie Cruse and husband, Daniel, Barbara Dufrene and husband, Wade, Hetty Breaux and husband, R.J., and one deceased infant son; grandfather of Eddie Cruse Sr. and wife, Aja, Danielle LeBlanc and husband, Bobby, Chelsey Cruse and companion, Alvin Robichaux Jr., Kelly Cruse, Ashley Dufrene, Shelbe, Austin and Sidney Breaux and the late Jayden Breaux; great-grandfather of Mark Cruse, Eddie Cruse Jr., Hunter Tregre, Kent "K.J." Phillips Jr., Kaitlyn Cruse and Mason Cruse; son of the late Ernest Fonseca Sr. and Blanche Frickey Fonseca; brother of Ernest "White" Fonseca Jr. and wife, Shirley, Francis Fonseca, Linda Comardelle and husband, Leslie Sr., Jane Fonseca, Hope Rhodes and husband, Bob, Dale Fonseca and the late Herman Fonseca Sr.; and sister-in-law of Ruby Fonseca.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.

Just sitting her at school thinking about you paw paw. There is not a moment that goes by I don't think of you and everything you done for me. I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for you.... I will finish college paw just like I promised you. Sad you wont be there in the front row, but now you're with maw maw and y'all will have the best view... I will make you proud paw....
