Joseph Dupre Obituary
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at First Baptist Church in Golden Meadow. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kay Delaune Dupre; stepmother, Dolcina B. Dupre; children, Jennifer Gaspard, Travis Dupre, Jamie Besson and companion, Connie Burleigh; grandchildren, Dominique Dupre, Corey Dupre, Devin Gaspard, Destiny Gaspard, Brittney Williams, Kelly Besson and Bryson Besson; great-grandchild, Nazerath Dupre; half brother, Paul Naquin and wife, Mary Jean; sisters, Lula "Cheyenne" Johnfroe and husband, Gerald, Judith Doucet and husband, Vincent, Ashley Hebert and husband, Kelly, and Cathy Billiot and husband, Curtis; and half sisters, Mazie Chouest and husband, Carroll, and Gladys Cheramie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John A Dupre and Felice N. Dupre; son, Steven Dupre; and infant brother, Rudy Dupre.
He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association and the International Hot Rod Association.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.

i miss you peppy!!! ill never forget the smiles we shared together. your one of the greatest grandfathers i ever known and had. i thank god for having someone as brave and caring as you were. you always put a smile on my face even when i was having a bad day. you were their for everyone.
