Joyce Thibodeaux Obituary
Thibodaux - Joyce Fournet Thibodeaux, born on December 15, 1928, a native of St. Martinville and a resident of Thibodaux since 1961, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the age of 92.
A visitation will be held in her honor Saturday, July 10, 2021, 8:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her loving and devoted spouse of 64 years, Francis A. Thibodeaux; children, Kathleen Haslam and husband Lee, Gay T. Babineaux, Marie Louise Thibodeaux, and Dr. Jeffrey Thibodeaux and wife Darleen; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Geraldine "Jerry" Chauffe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewy J. Fournet, Sr. and Lorena Bonin Fournet; siblings, Dewy "D.J." Fournet, Jr. and Kathleen Fournet.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Alison Robicheaux, Heart of Hospice, and Father D for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any charity of choice or to St. Joseph Manor at 1201 Cardinal Dr., Thibodaux, LA, 70301.
