Leanda Hebert Obituary
Leanda Boudreaux Hebert, 62, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time today at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at the church, with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her husband, Charleston Hebert Sr.; her children, Tina Grabert and husband, Randy, Michelle Pitre and husband, Hector, Charlie Hebert and wife, Brooke, and Rodney Matte and wife, Jackie; her step-children, Chase and Elizabeth Hebert; one brother, Ray "Popeye" Boudreaux; her grandchildren, Brady and Bryana Grabert, Lexi and Kayla Pitre, Adam and Noah Hebert, and Dylan, Seth, and Beau Matte; one step-grandchild, Beau Hebert; and one great-great grandchild, Carter Matte.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson Boudreaux and Estelle Benoit Boudreaux; two brothers, Wilbert and Alton Boudreaux; and four sisters, Shirley Gotte, Viola Aizen, Verna Thibodeaux and Emerita Benoit.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Cancer Center at Thibodaux Regional, St. Joseph Hospice and Dr. Chester Boudreaux, Dr. James Ellis and Dr. William Dunn.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.

Sincere thanks to each and everyone of you. My mom was a very special lady who touched many lives. She had the most beautiful smile and biggest heart. Losing my mom is the hardest life experience I have had to endure. There is no love like a mother's love. I love you MOM!
