He is survived by his mother, Gladys Plaisance Matherne; son, Justin Matherne; daughters, Michelle Hendrix, Kayla Hendrix, Harlie Matherne, Hailey Thornton; brothers, Chris Bourg, Tony Bourg; sisters, Shelia Toups, Karen Davis, Melodie Matherne; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee J Matherne Sr.
